The Spot is a coworking space and café in central Kuta Lombok. It's been running since 2019, which in Kuta Lombok terms means it predates the current wave of remote worker infrastructure by several years.
Here's how it actually works — from day passes to long-term memberships.
Walk-In Day Passes
No booking required. Show up, choose a pass, pay at the door.

Day passes include access to the coworking area, fast Wi-Fi, and the quiet focus room. The café and kitchen are separate — you order from the menu as you normally would.
Memberships (Weekly and Monthly)
If you're staying in Kuta for a week or longer, a membership works out cheaper per day and includes 24/7 access — which matters for early surf sessions followed by late work nights.

Dedicated Desks
A small number of dedicated desks are available for longer stays. These are fixed workspaces reserved for you — you don't pack up at the end of the day, your setup stays in place.
Dedicated desks come with an external monitor, laptop stand, keyboard and mouse, and priority for the quiet focus room. Available by weekly or monthly booking.
The Space Itself
The Spot is set in a garden — open but sheltered. The café and coworking areas flow into each other, so you can shift between focused desk work and a more relaxed seat as needed.
The **focus room** is a separate enclosed area for when you need silence: air-conditioned, away from café noise, designed for calls and deep work.
Wi-Fi is fibre-based with Starlink backup, so local outages don't knock you offline. Power sockets at every seat.
The Café
Food is available throughout the day — Belgian and Indonesian dishes, proper espresso, fresh juices, smoothie bowls. You're not going to leave hungry.
