No insurance included
The scooter is not insured. You're responsible for any damage, theft or injury while it's with you. Ride carefully, lock it, and wear a helmet.
You need a valid licence — an International Driving Permit with the motorcycle category. Police check regularly in Lombok.
Where you'll actually go
Selong Belanak, Mawi, Gerupuk and Ekas for the surf. Merese Hill for the sunset. Most of it is 20–40 minutes on a scooter and impossible without one.
