A digital nomad cafe that's actually good for working — fast Wi-Fi, proper coffee, full kitchen, and a relaxed garden setting in central Kuta Lombok.
Most cafes in Kuta Lombok offer decent coffee but unreliable Wi-Fi, or reasonable internet but no food worth staying for. The Spot was built to solve both problems at once.
We've been running a combined coworking space and café in central Kuta since 2019 — a place where remote workers can actually get things done, and also eat well while they're at it.
The Setup
The Spot isn't a co-working space that happens to sell coffee. It's a full all-day café with a dedicated coworking area built into it. That means you get:
- **Fast, reliable Wi-Fi** — fibre connection with Starlink backup, consistent enough for video calls
- **A quiet focus room** — separate from the café area, for when you need to concentrate
- **A full kitchen** — Belgian and Indonesian dishes from breakfast through evening
- **Proper espresso** — not the instant powder you'll find elsewhere
- **Power at every seat** — sockets throughout the space, not just near the walls
- **Open 08:00–21:00 daily**
The garden setting keeps things cool without relying entirely on air conditioning — open but sheltered, shaded by trees and bamboo. Most people find it more energising than a sterile office, but if you need silence, the focus room is there.
How Pricing Works
Day passes start from **Rp 100.000 for a half day (4 hours)**. A full-day pass (10 hours) is Rp 160.000.
If you want to combine breakfast with your work session, we have **Morning Focus passes** — 4 hours + breakfast from Rp 150.000, or 8 hours + breakfast from Rp 200.000.
For stays of a week or longer, weekly and monthly memberships are available and include 24/7 access. Members get a better daily rate and can leave their setup between sessions.
No reservation needed for day passes — just show up.
The Food
The café runs a full menu from morning until evening. Belgian staples alongside Indonesian dishes, fresh juices, smoothie bowls, and coffee done properly. You're not going to run out of reasons to stay.
The honest advantage over a pure co-working space: you don't need to break focus to go find lunch. Everything's here.
Who Works Here
The typical person at The Spot is a digital nomad or remote worker on a stay of a week to a few months. Freelancers, startup founders, people running online businesses who decided to work from somewhere with surf and decent food.
We also host occasional remote team retreats — a few colleagues working from the same space for a week, using the garden and meeting areas in between sessions.
