Coworking Space in Kuta Lombok: How The Spot Works
Day passes from Rp 100k, dedicated desks, fast Wi-Fi, and good food — here's everything you need to know about coworking at The Spot in Kuta Lombok.
Kuta Lombok is one of Southeast Asia's better-kept secrets for remote workers. It's quieter than Bali, cheaper than most of Thailand, and the surf is world-class. The only thing it was missing for years was a proper place to actually get work done.
That's where **The Spot** comes in. We've been running a coworking space and all-day café in Kuta Lombok since 2019 — back when "coworking in Lombok" wasn't really a phrase anyone used. Here's how it works.
What We Offer
The Spot is a combined coworking space and café. That means you're not just renting a desk — you're working somewhere with good food, proper coffee, and a relaxed atmosphere that makes long work sessions feel a lot less grim.
A few things that matter to remote workers:
- **Wi-Fi speeds**: We run fibre with a Starlink backup, so even during local outages you stay connected. Speed is consistent enough for video calls.
- **Quiet focus room**: Separate from the café area, for when you need to actually concentrate.
- **Power and seating**: Multiple socket points throughout, comfortable seating options from sofas to proper desk setups.
- **Hours**: Open 08:00–21:00 daily. Members get 24/7 access.

Memberships
If you're staying in Kuta for a week or longer, a membership saves money and gives you 24/7 access — which matters when the surf is good early and you want to work later.
We offer weekly and monthly memberships. [Check current membership rates on our coworking page](/cowork) or ask us directly when you arrive.
Dedicated Desks
Prefer a fixed spot that's yours every day? We have a small number of dedicated desks available for longer-term stays. These come with storage and priority booking.
The Space
The Spot is built around a garden setting — open but sheltered, which keeps it cool without air conditioning blasting at you. The café and cowork areas flow into each other, so you can shift between focused work and a more relaxed seat whenever you need to.
We're not a sterile office. The vibe is a working café: people on laptops, occasional conversations, good music at background levels. Most people find it energising rather than distracting, but if you need silence there's the focus room.
Food and Coffee
One of the genuine advantages of working here over a pure coworking space is the food. We run a full kitchen serving Belgian and Indonesian dishes from morning through evening — so you're not stuck hunting for lunch during your work day.
Coffee is proper espresso-based, not instant. We also do fresh juices, smoothie bowls, and a full food menu. See [our food menu](/food) for what's on.
Who Works Here
The typical person at The Spot is a digital nomad or remote worker on a longer-term stay in Lombok — usually a week to a few months. We see a mix of freelancers, startup founders, online business owners, and people who decided to work from somewhere with surf and decent food instead of an office.
We've also had groups come through for remote team retreats — the combination of workspace, accommodation options nearby, and easy access to surf and day trips makes Kuta Lombok a practical choice.
Getting Here
